I've come to realize that I have been using Digital Ocean hosting for now over 10 years and frankly it has been working amazingly for me!
I've run websites, Java apps, Node apps and I'm even running my Mastodon and other fediverse stuff there now!

The same old story for the Aspect4J developer as everyone else in #opensource , everyone expecting maintenance and development for free or for coffee money.
This is mostly why I stopped, as it is not sustainable. People who are working hard on software used by highly successful projects using their work for free is not getting paid.
That was previously called slave labour and highly frowned upon. Not anymore.
